Dear readers,
I highly recommend thickening hairspray by Bumble & Bumble. It is a great separating hairspray that will set your style for longer wear. For those of you with thinning hair, it helps add fullness to your style. Just spray it on damp hair and work it in with a brush and blow dry to acquire a style you will like. It’s easy to use and you will have great results. It can be used for both thick and thin hair.
And PLEASE remember, no matter what you look like, you can never be as hopeless as my friend Felix.

I’m sure at one point or another, we can recall being bullied by a neighbor, a friend or a family member, or a general monster that is known as a hater. I’m amazed that in this day and age bullying has become such a problem in our communities and our world. I pray that this will all come to a stop. I invite you and challenge you to do something in your community to help prevent any more bullying happening around us. It’s sad when I hear that some poor kid committed suicide because they couldn’t take any more bullying in their high school or junior high. It saddens me that we can’t do anything to stop them. It is my responsibility as a blog writer to join this conversation about bullying to try and help prevent it. Bullying has even made it’s way into hacking personal photos off phones and reposting them on websites to harass celebrities and young adults. Please put great attention and care into this fragile matter by lending a hand in educating others.
And PLEASE remember, no matter what you look like, you can never be as hopeless as my friend Felix.

Bumble and Bumble have definitely done it again. My new discovery grooming creme is a superb styling moisturizer creme for your hair that I’d like to recommend to you all. It helps you with hold and at the same time styles your haircut. It can be used for any kind of hair. Please be sure not to use a lot as it has a tendency to weigh down your hair. I especially recommend this product for men’s hair styling. Try it and you’ll be happy.
And PLEASE remember, no matter what you look like, you can never be as hopeless as my friend Felix.

So excited and looking forward to seeing Paula Abdul’s big return to TV on the new show X Factor with Simon Cowell. I’ve always been a fan of Paula Abdul. I adore her. I live for her. I know she’s not a fashion icon but most of the time she has it on point. She is passionate for art, dance, music and choreography. That is what makes her special and stand out among the rest. I wonder how her reunion will be with Simon Cowell because they have a love/hate relationship. Their energy is only stronger together because of their love, respect and passion for what they do. It’s only obvious to us as the viewers and, for that, I highly recommend watching the X Factor on FOX. And remember, the winner will get 5 million dollars and a Pepsi commercial that will run during the Super Bowl. The contestants are from ages 12 and up, which goes beyond American Idol’s age limit. I adore you Simon for allowing older people to have a chance at stardom.

Eighteen years in the making, we can finally say that justice has been served. The gay community is having a joyful celebration as this policy comes to a long-awaited end. No longer can our government prevent gays from serving openly in the military. The law is repealed! I congratulate Obama for allowing this important change to happen during his stay in office. It went into effect on Tuesday, September 20th. History in the making!

Congratulations to Chaz Bono on his new career endeavor. I congratulate you and applaud you for having such courage to stand out among the others. Being on Dancing With The Stars, I’m sure you’ll be fighting prejudice and judgement, but I know you have the tolerance to overcome such criticisms.
I’d love to say that Chaz and Lacey have done a phenomenal job dancing and I must say that I am a fan of their techinique, footwork and balance, as that is what we should be judging them on and not their personal lives…how fat or beautiful or rich they are. This is a dance competition so therefore let’s focus our attention on the dancing.
For those of you who are boycotting the show, I’d like to say ABC does not need your ratings or your criticisms, because if you can’t see past labels or genders then you are forgetting what America stands for…Freedom.
Please vote for Team Schwaz. You can vote as many times as you want while they are dancing. Call 1-800-868-3412. On September 19th, you may vote 12 times during the show. You can also go online and vote at www.abc.com. AT&T customers text the word “vote” on your AT&T phone.
Let’s keep sending Chaz and Lacey a ray of light not only to encourage them to dance well but to fight against these prejudiced monsters in this country as they pursue this new endeavor. Let’s stop focusing our energy on the negativity and let’s start focusing on the positive, like the fact that the winner will have money going to charity.
And PLEASE remember, no matter what you look like, you can never be as hopeless as my friend Felix.

I got the opportunity to work with Matt Beard once again. He brought me on to work with this company called Violet Love. It was such a pleasure. Though my day started at 4:30am and my call was at 6:3o in Laguna Niguel, I didn’t mind because it was such a lovely experience. I was working for the very first time with Rebecca Michaels, the designer for Violet Love. Rebecca is such a great boss and she saw the vision and just let me go with it. She explained what I should do with makeup and hair and the rest was easy breezy from there. No drama, no problems. The environment was so beautiful at the cove, very private, with zero interruptions. Matt shot in just 2 hours and moved onto lunch, continuing in a different location for the rest of the day. It was truly a wonderful experience and it was a great pleasure working with the team. I look forward to working with them again and please keep an eye on my work for them, coming soon. While reading Frontiers, an LA-based magazine, I ran into reading the article Ten of LA’s Most Eligible Bachelors, with the title “My Boyfriend Material”. I appreciated and liked this very much as a gay man and I feel that we need to see more of these articles in other various magazines. Congratulations to you Frontiers for adding this new addition to your magazine and keep your new innovations coming. They are well appreciated. I’m sure all of your readers love them as much as I do.

When walking to Brooks Brothers Beverly Hills this Saturday to pick up the latest addition to my fall wardrobe, I ran into my new favorite sales associate Linda. She was so professional and well-educated about the merchandise in the store. I walked in to get one or two things but walked out with more than four as she was so knowledgeable. For all of you readers interested in getting a few fall items I recommend to come and see Linda. There is free parking available and most likely you will find what you are looking for with no problem. Here is the contact information for the store. Feel free to call Linda prior to coming in.
