Since we’re on the subject of going back to basics, one basic thing to do is work on your eyebrows. There’s nothing more perfect than a beautifully arched and groomed eyebrow.

I am sick and tired of seeing the overarched and clown-drawn eyebrows. The eyebrows frame the eye, so it is important that they are not overdone. The eyes bring focus to your face. Your eyebrows should not overpower your face, but complement the beauty of your eyes.

If your eyebrows are fuller, use an eyebrow gel that matches the color of your brow to groom them in place. Most likely, you do not need to use a pencil or powder.

If your eyebrows are medium, use a powder and brush to fill in the blank areas to give it the finished look.

If your eyebrows are thin, use a pencil along with a powder and brush to make it as soft and natural as possible. Remember, less is more. Don’t overdo!

For those that need to tweez or wax, remember to not overdo. The natural look is beautiful; look at Brooke Shields.
