My visit to the American Laser Center, Wednesday April 8 2009.
As always, when I walked into the office, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile, which is not a surprise to me. All the staff members are professional and super attentive. The American Laser Center I visit is located on 8383 Whilshire Blvd., Suite 443, Beverly Hills, CA, 90211. My esthetician’s name is ROSE - she has an execellent bed side manner, a soothing quality, and a caring personality. She makes me feel safe and I know that when I’m done, that I will be happy with my final results.

Furthermore, ROSE always makes sure we discuss my hair removal improvement, and records my procedure by photographing the area, and maintaining it in my file. She makes sure I have ice, and that the area is numb before she proceeds with the laser. She never forgets to remind me to apply sunscreen on my face daily.

Everyone is different in terms of achieving faster or slower results. According to how intensive the hair, that will determine how fast or slow you will get results. Areas with less hair get faster results.

Having more hair makes the process slower and requires more visits to achieve my desired results. So far, I have had about eight visits and I’m still not done with the treatment. If any men are reading this…. I highly recommend it! It is great for men’s backs, middle of the eyebrows, ears and any other area where you may have unwanted hair… that you may hate. It is not just for women at all.

Women already know the most recommended areas. Most importantly, you are well aware that it REALLY works and that it is TOTALLY worth it!! oh… YES!!.. Who wants to be shaving or waxing every two weeks when you can have it lasered off, removed for good, or at least for two years before you need to have it done again.

Right?…. Seriously!… That’s what I’m talking about!!

TRY IT… YOU will like the results.

Price varies according to the area you want done. Don’t forget to ask for specials, because I know they run specials periodically. So be sure to ASK… and you well get better prices.

Remember to have patience if you don’t see results right away. Everyone’s hair growth is different so do NOT compare your results to your friend or to anyone else. You will finally get there!! -and hair will be gone -I promise.

Mid-western cities are setting TRENDS for all other ‘progressive’ US states. Just this Friday, March 03 2009 Iowa passed a law for same sex marriage and recognition. CONGRATS!!

As a gay male living in WEST HOLLYWOOD - in the most progressive trend-setting city - I am embarressed to say; CALIFORNIA needs to step it up!! To me, California represents the HIGHEST social, cultural, political, artistic, forward and trend-setting state. But the question is …”What’s happening California?”… for not stepping up and keeping us on top of social progress? What’s happening to our futures? We all have the same dreams, hopes and we all want the same opportunities in our lives.

California….. learn from Iowa! Let’s be the next state where same sex marriage is ‘legal’ and where our relationships are recognized and our rights are equal. PLEASE!! do not restrict us any more! Let’s educate, let’s train and raise money to reverse CA supreme court and voter decisions.

This will be a BREAK THROUGH for CIVIL RIGHTS and for all gay and lesbian couples. We can do it!! It is ONLY fair.
