SKETCH MODEL AT WORK

THE ART EXHIBIT

Saturday March 28 2009, 11:00a.m.
Day started with B-fast at Eat Well. I had tofu, steam veggies and rice and 2 cups of coffee. Mario had an avocado and tomatoe sandwich and a tomatoe juice. Rafael had a greek scramble, coffee and grapefruit juice.
From B-fast we continued to CVS where we collected a bottle of Gentleman JACK and some coors beer. We then came back home and had an early afternoon cocktail. Enjoyed great conversation and listened to some music before heading out to support the world of art.

Mid-day we go to the 14th annual TOM of FINDLAND foundation EROTIC ART FAIR here in West Hollywood. Around 3:00pm we walked down the halls where the exhibit took place. SIX decades of the artist’s work were exibited plus another 60 local artist drawings, paintings, sketches and images that were elegantly and erotically showcased. It was a true various media. Mario bought me an art piece by a local comic book style pin-up artist by the name of Steven H. Garcia. Rafael bought 2 pieces; one from Latino Erotic Pencil artist Hector Silva and another by digital photographer Curry Mendez. These are now framed and hanging in my wall as a visual celebration of the erotic art that spoke to me. Thank you to you both. After 2 hours of artistic stimulation and erotic observation we returned back home where we had just one more drink and rendez vous to the next page of the day.

Jessica Murphy (my friend from CHICAGO) was visiting L.A. - Rafael, Mario and I joined her and her best friend Theresa for a bite to eat at the Abbey. We caught up on our lives and lifestyles. I was very exicited to hear she (Jessica) may move to join us here in L.A. She LOOKS GREAT!! GO GIRL!! From the Abbey we strolled down to Fiesta Cantina where we all enjoyed the vibe and madness as we looked on to the crowd of people starting to get tipsy and more interesting.

Jessica liked the bartenders and she ended up taking some of their photos. I personally liked the HUGE margarita i had there. Did I say huge? I mean HUMONGOUS, very tasty.

As the day turned into night we made our final stop for dinner to have sushi at Ari-Ya, my local sushi restaurant . By the way I highly recommend it as it is excellent.

The rest is history. Did we go DANCING????
